I've seen this happen a few times over different seasons on different saves, having a reserve or youth team player signing a new contract i haven't offered to them, when in team settings all contracts are supposed to be left to me.
But this only ever happens on players who i can't release from the club anyway, without offering any explanation why, and with the players holding contracts with the club.
Does anyone know why this happens?
