France Coast Past Greece

France ran out winner today in a wet affair on a cold night in Greece today. In a relatively dull game, Olivier Giroud grabbed himself another international goal, before Papastathopoulous' own goal doubled France' lead. It was a game for 20 year old Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette, who made his first appearance for his country. The youngster was extremely "proud and honoured" to be involved in the France squad.

The next game for is an away trip to Germany. Many see this as the first real challenge for Gaillard and his team since he became manager.

This video was discovered on the internet today, of France manager Remi Gaillard. Gaillards erratic playing style has lead to much criticism of the young manager. Both the FFF and Gaillards representatives have refused to comment.​
