Just to make FM that little bit more special, I was wondering whether anybody could come up with players that you could pretend to be and make a manager career from!?
Any suggestions, I have thought of Jamie Redknapp so far......:D

You can do it with Any player. Any retired star.

Just think of a legend of that club.

Cantona's a good one.

I though of one or two for my team Birmingham, Christophe Dugarry and Martin Grainger

Christophe Dugarry... legend! lol

Pick one that retires a season or two into the game eg Giggs, Neville

My current Liverpool save i'm Emlyn Hughes. XD

I was thinking more towards a player that isnt on the game like Redknapp, that you could make a complete managerial career out of, and maybe start off in like League 2 and work your way up.
I do it on FIFA all the time, just makes it a bit more real.
Because I doubt I will ever get the chance to take Man United to the champions league final! :(

Ozzy Ardiles (Spurs/Argentina)
Klinsman
Cruyff

I hate Liverpool, with a passion, so I doubt I will be managing them! (H)
Haha, any english players guys?

i did this with zidane kinda fun, but also the sanme

Was maybe thinking of somebody a little less well known, English, etc.??
What you guys have come up with, has been really good so far!

Was never a big fan of Robbie Fowler, so I dont think I would want to pretend to be him!
Anybody think that my idea is a good one (playing as a ex player) ?
