Mate, you've given me vision which is not a technical attribute.

I've switched it out with dribbling, but you're free to change your choice if you want
 
Ok guys, I've created all the players. I'll go over them once more and run some tests in the morning before starting the BaP.

I will also post details of the points system before I start.

The 2 players whose details need to be changed, you guys have about 6-7 hours to confirm or modify those changes.

I will no longer be accepting new applicants...sorry guys :)
 
Sorry guys. There's a slight problem with the editor, so I will take a couple of days to have the game up and running since I'll have to recreate the database.

As compensation, I'll have a points system ready by today.
 
Points System

Base Points
(Non-competitive club matches do not count towards the points total)

Goal = 1 point
Assist = 0.5 points
Player of the Match = 1.5 points
Yellow Card = -0.1 points
Red Card = -0.25 points

Total score is calculated by multiplying the base score in each competition by the multiplier value and adding the score in each competition

Multiplier = (Star rating of each competition)/5

For e.g., a 5 star competition gets a multiplier of 1.
International friendlies are assigned a multiplier of 0.4.

If you have any doubts/suggestions regarding the points system, feel free to comment.




 
Slight problem, guys. Several of the players created are not showing up in-game, even though I've loaded about 330,000 players using advanced settings, and I've also tried increasing their reputation.

Any suggestions? I'm at a loss :(

What clubs are the players that aren't showing up assigned to?
 
I have never made something like this, but aren't you assigned the players to any Non-League teams?
 
I haven't assigned the players to teams at the start of the game. I never used to do that in previous versions and it worked out just fine back then.

Let me give you an example.
Hans Christian Pedersen shows up as a free agent and he's wanted by a number of clubs.

Players like James Scott and Willie Stroker don't show up at all. This happens to about 7 or 8 players.

Under advanced settings, I have ticked the option "Players based in nation" and "Players of nationality" under all continents, so they should be showing up, right?
 
Yes, they should. I don't have a single idea. Maybe the database. Can't be that a problem, a bug or something?

Hmm, free agents don't always show up, even with customised filters. Have you tried filtering out the nations the players are from, instead of selecting continents?

I will try that. I don't want to assign players to clubs right away. Probably will resort to that if nothing else works.
 
I started one of these games and had exactly the same problem when I tried to add unassigned players.

I am obviously doing something wrong but any player I add to the database only seem to show up if assigned to a team.
 
Perhaps it is possible to add a trial-contract to the players to a random club, for 1 week or so from the start? That way they won't be attached at least, but it might make it more likely that they sign for that specific team.
