September '14 - December '14

Joe Miller won the Premier League Young Player of the Month in September, playing three times and getting an average rating of 7.00. In October, Andy Smith came 3rd in the Young Player of the Month, and then came 1st in November playing 6 games, scoring once and obtaining an average rating of 7.03. He also came 3rd in December's Premier League Young Player of the Month. Danny Newton came 2nd in November's Young Player of the Month in the Championship, and then 1st in December after only conceding 3 goals in 5 matches, and an average rating of 6.84

January '15 - July '15

Bayern Munich have loaned Joe Miller for the rest of the season, with an option to buy him for £8m. Blake has extended his stay at Bradford for an extra three months as he is getting 1st team experience.
Yet again Andy Smith appears in the Young Player of the Month, coming third in January, second in February, first in March, third in April and third in May. JordanK has come second in the Championship Young Player of the Month in January. Blake has returned from being on loan at Bradford in April, making 41 appearances, conceding 57 goals, 10 clean sheets and an average rating of 6.56.

JordanK has become the third player to earn his first cap, in which he came on as a sub in the 81st minute for Ireland in a 1-1 draw against Georgia in the European Championship Qualifiers. Danny Newton has made a £4.3m move from Middlesbrough to Stoke. Birmingham have loaned Sidney Leigh for a fee of £325k for the season, whilst Joe Miller has gone on loan to Malaga for a season at a price of £625k.

The 2014/2015 Season Best XIs are as follows:
Greg, sub (AS Monaco), Andy Smith, CB and Ashley Baldry, sub (Birmingham), Blake, GK (Bradford), JordanK, ST (West Brom), Pele Two, AMC (Chievo)
An extra note that Andy Smith has been included in Birmingham's overall Best XI as CB.

Yes ripping up the Young player of the month awards! :D

EDIT: And Birmingham's Best XI, wicked!

July '15 - Dec '15

For a fee of £425k, Man City have loaned out JordanK to Stoke for the season. Meanwhile Blake has made a 5 month move to Millwall. Even though he didn't gain his first international cap, it worth a mention that Andy Smith has been called up to the England squad in August, and even made it onto the subs bench in October. However in November, he finally plays for England coming off the bench in a 4-0 win in a friendly against Greece. Elsewhere, JordanK has scored his first goal for Ireland. He came off the bench to score the last goal in a 3-1 win over Moldova in a friendly.

A trio of players were in August's Young Player of the Month in the Premiership, with Andy Smith coming third, Ashley Baldry second and Danny Newton winning the award even if in 3 matches he conceded 9 goals and got an average rating of 5.8! In September it was Kieran Lynch who came third and Andy Smith who came first with an average rating of 7.37 over 3 games. He does one better in October, as Andy Smith wins Player of the Month with an average rating of 8.63 over 4 matches, whilst Danny Newton wins the Young Player of the Month in October, conceding 8 in 4 games, and an average rating of 6.30. In November, it is Andy Smith who comes first again, but back in the Young Player of the Month. In 4 games he got an average rating of 7.28. Danny Newton came second this month, but in December, it was Newton who came first, with only 11 goals let in in 7 matches, and Smith in 3rd.

For the first time, a player has made it into an international best XI for the year. JordanK, with his two appearances and goal, has made him ST in Ireland's 2015 Best XI.

January '16 - May'16

Tottenham have loaned Greg from Juventus for the remainder of the season for a sum of £850k. They have the option of buying him later on for a larger fee of £5.25m. Greg had mainly been on the bench and the reserves for Juventus, so this may be a way for him to get some first team football. Andy Smith has told local newspapers he wants to leave Birmingham for a bigger club, but may have to wait as no clubs were interested in the January transfer period. Blake is staying at Millwall for an extra three months.

Danny Newton once again claims Young Player of the Month in January, playing 4, conceding 8 and an average rating of 6.25. Kieran Lynch has come second in the award. In February, Ashley Baldry came third and Andy Smith came second. Ashley Baldry won March's award, playing 3 games and getting an average rating of 7.50, and Andy Smith came third, however he won April's Young Player of the Month playing 5 times and having an average rating of 6.60, whilst Dannt Newton came third.

Rumours have been going around that Danny Newton and Andy Smith are contenders for the English Players' Young Player of the Year Award. Joe Miller has also been tipped to win the Spanish Young Player of the Year.

Blake has completed his loan spell at Millwall, making 37 appearances, with an average rating of 6.67. He conceded 41 goals, made 7 clean sheets and even got a Man of the Match award.

Andy Smith does win the English Players' Young Player of the Year Award.

Young Player of the Year. After winning all of those awards, I must win it!

June '16 - Dec '16

It's that time again when the best XI of the season are picked. This time the following players are involved:
Andy Smith, CB and Ashley Baldry, RB (Birmingham), in which Baldry has joined Smith in Birmingham's overall Best XI in the same positions. Blake, GK (Millwall), Danny Newton, GK (Stoke), and is now the sub GK for Stoke's overall Best XI. Pele Two, LM (Chievo), and is also AMC for the Overall Best XI for Chievo. Junior, sub (Athletico Madrid), he has also made it into their Overall Best XI as sub GK.

Only Kieran Lynch was involved in this year's European Championships, where Scotland managed to get past the group stages with 6 points in three matches, and then losing by penalties to Belgium in the second round.

Sunderland have signed Ashley Baldry from Birmingham for £8.5m. Tottenham did make a £5.25m for Greg, as agreed in the loan, however he has rejected the offer and has returned to Juventus. Meanwhile, Sidney Leigh has moved to Bolton on loan for the season for a fee of £425k. A £6.5m bid was enough for Sampdoria to buy Joe Miller from Aston Villa whilst Blake has gone on loan to Millwall again.

It's getting tiring saying Young Player of the Month, so it's good to see Andy Smith win August's Player of the Month instead making 3 appearances, and an average rating of 8.53. Ashley Baldry has come second in August's Young Player of the Month. In September, Ashley Baldry and Andy Smith came second and third respectively in the Young Player of the Month. Baldry then goes on to win it in October, playing 4 matches, getting an average rating of 7.33, and again in November playing 5 matches and an average rating of 7.50.

Blake has been named in the South Africa squad in November, as he is eligible to play for both England and South Africa, however he is yet to play for either country.

In the International Best XI for the season are Andy Smith, CB (England) JordanK, sub (Ireland) Kieran Lynch, AML (Scotland)

Jan '17 - June '17

Greg
has moved to Stuttgart for a fee of £2.3m, possibly rising to £3.6m. Juventus fans were pleased to see the back of him and hope that morale in the club will improve. Millwall have extended Blake's loan deal by another 3 months. The biggest transfer of the January market is a whopping £17m move for Pele Two to join CSKA Moscow, with conditions could make it rise to £23.5m.

In January, Andy Smith wins Player of the Month, having an average rating of 8.63 in 3 games. Surprisingly, there were no more Player/Young Player of the Month Awards until June where Smith came third in Player of the Month, however Andy Smith did win consecutive English Young Player of the Year Awards, with his performances for Birmingham.

Scotland's Kieran Lynch has scored his first goal for his country in a 3-1 win in a friendly over Montenegro. Blake returned from his loan at Millwall in April, making 40 appearances, an average rating of 6.57 and conceding 56 goals. Danny Newton was part of the Stoke team that won the League Cup against Manchester City. Despite after 90 minutes it was 0-0, Stoke managed to win 3-1 after extra time.

In the 2016/2017 Best XI are: Greg, sub (Stuttgart), Andy Smith, CB (Birmingham), Sidney Leigh, sub (Bolton), Blake, GK (Millwall), Danny Newton, GK (Stoke), Ashley Baldry, CB (Sunderland), Joe Miller, AMCR (Sampdoria), Junior, sub (Athletico Madrid).

It's only June, but Blake has moved on loan again for a season, this time to Wycombe Wanderers, and there is speculation that Andy Smith is a target for Arsenal!

Might only be in the Championship, but European Football next season!

And beating City! LOL!

Blackburn have loaned Junior for the season off Athletico Madrid. Sidney Leigh has made a £2.3m move from Arsenal to Aston Villa, with the possibility of it rising to £3.7m. Not only are Arsenal, but Chelsea were interested in signing Andy Smith as a replacement for David Luiz, but neither team put a bid in so for the moment he stays at Birmingham.

Pele Two has been called up to the Brazil squad for the first time in August, but so far hasn't played for the country. Also, Sidney Leigh has scored his first goal for Ireland, as they beat Bulgaria 2-1 in a friendly.

It has been a lot quieter this season, but the following players made it into the 2017 best XI for their country:
Andy Smith, CB (England), Sidney Leigh, sub (Ireland), Kieran Lynch, AML (Scotland)

January '18 - June '18

There have been no transfers to speak of in January.

In January, Ashley Baldry was third in Player of the Month. In March, Joe Miller was brought up into the Span squad to replace an injured Busquets, but was never used on the pitch. Junior has returned to Athletico Madrid, having made 48 appearances for Blackburn, conceding 56 goals, 14 clean sheets and an average rating of 6.82. Andy Smith came 3rd in the English Players' Young Player of the Year Award.

Even though they were in the Championship, Stoke managed to get to the knockout stages of the Europa League, losing to AS Monaco in the 1st Knockout Stage.

The players in this season's Best XI are: Sidney Leigh, sub (Aston Villa), Junior, GK (Blackburn), Danny Newton, GK (Stoke), Ashley Baldry, CB (Sunderland), Blake, sub (Wycombe), Joe Miller, AMC (Sampdoria),

Junior is also sub for Blackburn's Overall XI and Joe Miller is AMC for Sampdoria's Overall XI.

In June however, Chelsea expressed a big interest in Andy Smith, and have made a £27m bid for him, which was quickly accepted by Birmingham, and Smith moved within 3 days of the bid being submitted. Elsewhere, Manchester City have offered JordanK to other clubs as he is surplus to requirements. Fulham and Stoke both bid for him; Fulham won, signing him for £2.8m.

Kieran Lynch (Scotland), JordanK and Sidney Leigh (Ireland) are all involved in the 2018 World Cup held in Russia. Unfortunately neither team made it past the group stages. However this is one better than England who didn't even make it to Russia!

For a second season in a row, Blake has moved on loan to Wycombe Wanderers on loan for 6 months, and Junior has gone on loan to Blackburn again for a season. Barely 18 months on, Pele Two has left CSKA Moscow for Manchester United in a £16.25m move, possibly rising to £18.25m.

Joe Miller has been the next player to make his first cap, but has chosen to play for England under Juan Carlos Garrido. He played the whole of the friendly against Mexico, where unfortunately England lost 2-0. Pele Two has been called up to the Brazil squad, but is yet to play a match yet.

In November, Andy Smith broke his foot and is out for 4 months receiving specialist treatment to quicken the process.

The following players are in the 2018 International Best XI:
Andy Smith, CB (England), JordanK and Sidney Leigh, ST (Ireland), Kieran Lynch, LM (Scotland). Sidney Leigh has even managed to make it on the bench of Ireland's overall best XI.

Also anyone interested in joining any other BaP games, Danny is doing an international one:
