Tried this tactic with Newcastle, work very well, 13 games 8 W 3 D 2 L (32 goals / 12 against) ! Brilliant !!
 
I've started using this tactic, and I must say the way this plays the ball about is an absolute joy. Really nice football indeed :) Just one question, do you need a proper ball playing defender? I'm arsenal, and I've noticed in the OP you used Mertesacker there, how did he play as the ball player? I've been considering selling him and trying to get John Stones or someone like that with sweet *** passing powers

Won the quadruple ( lost the Community shield ) with Arsenal; has been using counter when leading but it was worked really really well, with the Ox, Alexis and Ozil having amazing ratings ; Ozil has been the best performer over the season with Giroud a close second and Debuchy (! ) in the top five
Have been rotating Ramsey and Wilshere in the MC spot, Romero, Cubas ( great signing ) and Arteta in the DMC position

Mertesacker is pretty terrible :P He's way too slow. You need someone fast in there! I was playing with Arsenal on it too, bought Dede from some Brazilian team.
 
Can't believe this tactic hasn't been mentioned more. I've been playing with Leeds for 3 seasons. The first year I won the Championship and got promoted to PL. Second season, and with a squad capable of battling for relegation but not more, I finished 7th. This year, in my 3rd season, I finished 1st and won the premiership. My aim was to try and make the Champions league, but with an amazing finish where I was unbeaten in 18 games, with 11 wins out of the 11 games left i won the league.

I'm very much a plug and play guy, the only exception being that I use shouts during the game. When scoring "concentrate" and when letting in a goal "encourage". I also almost always use "I believe in you" for every player except the goalkeeper in my team talks. As training I use teamwork (high) during the whole season and defensive pos. as match training. Other than that, nothing. No OI's.

That's awesome (H) Premier League champions with Leeds in your 2nd year in the Prem? Impressive.
 
This tactic has been amazing for me so far. Took over Chelsea in December 2017 when they were in 17th. No idea how, but went on to win every game except one, which was the final game of the season, in a winner takes all match, which was a little disappointing.

Smashed in the next season with chelsea though :)
