a disapointing defeat to cfr cluj leaves us 1st in the league by a point, a game in hand though. tough champions league draw, after we were paired with chelsea, having a disapointing year so far, so i believe we could capitilise,and maybe sneak it over the 2 legs!

in to the winter break, and have lined up sevral friendlies, in order to be in good shape for chelsea game. unfortunately had to sell jano ananidze for 6.25 mil or he would have went free in the summer. i have bought marco verratti has his replacement for 2 mil, hopefully he can step up!

injuries and poor form coming into the squad, so 2 loan signings from river plate and 1 from st.etienne for the january and february friendlies. struggling to keep players happy, as big clubs coming in for some of them.

some good news, then bad, onicas returns from injury, and stancy will miss 2nd leg... gutted. meanwhile domestically have 2 league games in between, will be using 1 of them to rest players

youngsters and subs really played well, in these games, gives me a few things to think about for 2nd leg!
any ideas how i should go about it? defensive,contain, standard, counter??

AMAZING!!!!! best ever performance in my FM career! yes we were helped by the fact that they finished with 8 players! but victory over the reigning european winners, is massive, a QF tie against either marseille or fiorentina, really fancy getting into the semis!

we now have 4 games until the QF game with fiorentina then 1 in between the 2nd leg! they scraped past marseille with an away goal, so we have to take this wonderful chance

4 games played, with 3 wins and 1 disappointing draw, still top of the league, is the main thing, and now on to our biggest game of the season away to fiorentina, can we sneak it?

so we got beat by fiorentina and we deserved to, lucky it wasnt more, the tie could be done and dusted, but its not, cant wait for the home leg! a league game in between the 2nd leg, will give the youngsters a chance to shine! one bad blow, is the injury to bogdan stancu, for the home leg, hes had an injury-plagued season

GREAT! SEMI-FINALS here we come!! good result, but performance wasnt the greatest, they had 7 clear-cut chance and only took, 1.. but i dont care!! barcelona up next. being honest, i think this may be just a bridge to far! but we can use this for next year! verratti proving he can replace ananidze!
