To be more specific, I need a good advanced forward to replace soldado with that will be able to produce as much as soldado did/does for my valencia.

Soldado is currently worth £29M on my Valencia save in 2012/13 season and I want to take advantage of that even though he's considered one of, if not the, best player on my team currently.

So is there a good replacement for him, someone with similar playing style or just simply an amazing advanced forward that could become his so called successor?

He has been really amazing for my Valencia save but I feel like I should move on and invest in some younger players/regens.

Do you really need a good advanced forward or could it also be a player with a different role? I would recommend you Leandro Damiao, Cavani, Yaya Sanogo, Niang, Fierro, Christian Benitez, Vaclav Kadlec, Doumbia. However I think that you should keep Soldado, because you risk to lose your goalmachine

Preferably an Advanced forward, my plan was to keep soldado for around a year or two to use as a tutor for whatever player I sign.
And Thanks, I'll check them out!

I've heard Mbaye Niang plays very well as an Adv. Forward.

his price will drop very fast he had same value in my save and it dropped to 8m in year or so. I bought Muniain as a replacement since I wanted spain striker in my team...he is more of poacher though

I signed Mbaye Niang in my third season for 9 million. Get him if you have the funds :) Also I'd keep Soldado, losing your goalmachine is always a risk. And if there are any teams interested him, I'll try get some more money for him than his market value as well, perhaps around 37 million or so.

Get Mbaye Niang. Took a while to adapt to my way of play for United but he's flourishing now 8 goals in his last 5 games.

if you have £25mil leandro damiao is amazing, as are his stats. You'd barely make any money though, which makes it pretty pointless to sell your guaranteed goalscorer. A cheaper option could be rondon from malaga, or llorente might get a bit cheaper 2nd season, not too sure.

also tomas necid was brilliant for me on fm11, if he's recovered from his long-long term injury on your save, you could try him, cheap and pretty lethal
