Hello! I have a questeion ragarding player roles / duties / individual settings. I'm sorry if this has been asked before but I couldn't find anything on it and in addition I'm fairly new to FM. Scenario:
I set a player to DMC position.
For his role I choose deeplying playmaker and duty is set to support.
Then I check under advanced the slider settings and note them down.
Now i change his role role to ballwinning midfielder.
Now i manually edit his advanced settings back to the settings I have jotted down (advanced playmaker values)
My question is: How will this player behave? What I want to know is how important are role / duty when you manually change the settings. Is role / duty just a scheme that changes the individual settings or has it an underlying function?
