Roles for Rooney and RVP

Ive just started another game with MAnchester United and i dont know what roles to play RVP and Rooney in.
Im playing a 4-4-2 with wingers pushed up, my first instinct is to have Wayne playing in the Deep Lying Forward role and RVP as a Trequarista.
Im also open to the theory that on FM 13 its not absolutely certain that they can play together, maybe RVP and Hernandez??

Any thoughts would be helpful

1) please use this in future instead of starting a new thread
2) yes they can most definitely.. especially when you make them swap positions

CF - Attack - set as playmaker

RVP:

AF - Attack - set as TM - ball to feet

try that
