I never saw him in his real prime, wheras Dinho was something else. Of course my age, or lack of it, comes into play.

Anyway, I swear he had a really good season?

He looked good in the few CL games I saw him play this season.

Pictures of him over the summer are far from flattering tho.

Fair Enough like custard creams.

:'( own fault got fat lost his form gets sold he could have been a football great

remember when the madrid fans gave him a standing ovation after singlehandidly destoying madrid at the bernebeu

He had a fantastic season last year, really got back to form under Leonardo.

Yup, he was amazing. Maybe not back to his best but he was great in the 10-15 games i saw him play, not to mention highlights.

Not seen any, I can see him just getting back into that spiral again.

The fat part made me laugh, are you not thinking of (Brazilian) Ronaldo ?

And he is a football great. No questions asked !

I am suprised he never came to the English Premier League. Would of been nice to see him play over here.

I think the Premier League would have been too quick-paced for him. He wasn't very good physically (ie speed, prescence in the air) but he was one of the most technically gifted players ever.

PS: I don't know why I'm talking about him in the past tense, he's not dead....

Fat Ronnie was the most devastating player I have ever seen in his prime. Defenses literrally shat bricks whenever he was on the pitch. Dinho was just as good IMO in peak condition, but I can never hold him to the same level for the reasons his game dropped off - loss of focus, loss of fitness and just a sucky attitude. Fat Ronnie at least had crippling injuries.

One of Milans best players last season.

Somthing like 15 Goals and 16 assists. Great stats for a player that most consider 'past it'

I know he isnt what he was in his prime at Barca but come on, its pretty hard to be THAT good

Great player .. loved watching him rip apart teams in Spain with Barcelona
imo he's in the top ten players of all time

He could have become a footballing great if only he had not become fat....still he was a massive player for AC Milan last season

Superb player. Shame he let his fitness levels drop, but maybe he wanted to move back to Brazil rather than staying in a top league. If Fat Ronaldo can get away with it, why not?

dare i say it if he kept on form and kept his focus he could have been the next pele

Going back to Brazil might bring back his love for football and he is still young enough to come back to Europe to a top team so all the best to him he is still some player

:'( This is a shame. Despite his extra weight I would still love him at City. Remember seeing him play in a friendly in Barcelona against Bayern Munich, best player I have ever seen. As much as I would like him to, cant see him ever playing for another team outside of Brazil. :(

This guy is a football legend. Personally I think he was better than C Ronaldo and Messi..

The OP has been proved wrong :$

AC Milan chief executive Adriano Galliani has once more affirmed that Ronaldinho will not leave the club this summer.
Speculation has grown that the Brazilian trickster is set for a return to his homeland to play for Flamengo, after two years in Italy.
The 30-year-old attacker has one year left on his existing deal at the San Siro and Galliani insists there are no talks with the South American club.
He told calciomercato.com: "He is coming back to Italy with his brother. There has been no request to leave on his part and no offer from Flamengo or other clubs.
"Ronaldinho has a contract with AC Milan

and there is no (loophole) clause as I read in some newspapers.
"He will play next season for Milan

He's Just.................. Unbelievable! Gutted Man United Didn't Get Him A Few Seasons Back Before He Went To Barca.. :( Or Even When He Left Barca, Would Of Been Great To See Him In The Prem.. Especially In The Red Of Manchester United....
