For reasons unknown (I in no way edited or hacked R.Madrid or Ronaldo), he's been placed on the transfer list and now I can get him for around £30m.

Question is, should I get him? I already have Welbeck complaining that the squad size is too big (Something I agree with). Plus, I have Nani, Young and Valencia as wingers, with Shaqiri, Chamberlain, Giggs and Park as cover. Neymar can play on the wing too, thought I've mainly put him upfront.

I'm thinking of trimming down the squad, so selling Anderson, Berbatov and maybe Valencia.

Should I get him? Undoubtedly, he's better than anything I've got at the moment, and he is a great player. But I'm worried that he might upset my team balance and that I'd sudddenly have to set the team up around him, sell off players because they won't get game time and therefore get unhappy etc. Thoughts?

FM can be pretty stupid sometimes with players on the transfer list but it's a no brainer, you have to buy him at £30 million.

I'd sell Berbatov and Valencia if you are looking to trim your squad.

I say no, if you haven't edited the league then United's finances are still terrible, you have neymar, valencia and young who will be eating up wage budgets and as a rule of thumb for my beloved United - Only spend what you need..If i really did want him i'd sell off some of my weaker players but be careful of relationships etc otherwise you'll upset your team

Oh, I forgot to add. I did one thing - get rid of all of United debt. That's it.

Get rid of Park, Shaqiri and Chamberlain. Valencia can play on either wing so he's decent enough cover.

definatly buy him. Sell off a few players who won't get much game time if any, Ronaldo is a must buy because if someone else in the PL gets him, it means trouble for you.

Why wouldn’t you buy one of the best players in the game?? Hes better than all you have, if you sell a few players you should recoup most of the money

It dont matter how big your squad is or who you have to sell, if Ronaldo becomes available for that good-a price, then its a no brainer

GET HIM

At 30mil he is a must

sell everyone except rooney and build the squad around they 2 lol

''Should I get him? Undoubtedly, he's better than anything I've got at the moment, and he is a great player.''

Then yes you should.

wooaahhhwaitasec... How does FM overinflate Utds debts by 200 million?

FM overinflates United's debts by about 200 million.

United start with 516m debts which sounds about right as they cleared about 200m off there debts last year from 700m to bowt 500m so how are there debts over inflated by 200m

im a celtic fan but supported man united all my life im only 23 so i have only seen the glory days but what im seeing right now that debt will only need to get bigger because for the first time in my lifetime (only going on recent weeks) man united will struggle for top 4 tottenham and city r defo and it will be a fight for the other 2 spots

FM may have inflated United debts, but they've also vastly inflated the amount of transfer money they have available to spend. ******* Glazers.

true they shouldnt have any the should only be able to sell to buy

Getting rid of the debt hasn't really done wonders for the budget. I tried with and without debt. I only got around £10m more without debt anyway.

Anyway, I'm going to get him, before Chelski try and nab him. Even worse, apparently Citeh are also having a look.
