He doesn't have Ronaldo's strength either and I don't think he really have the composure..

he isnt a ariel presence and never will be he dosent get back and defend like ronaldo does when he is needed and doesnt have the tactical awerness that ronaldo does just yet , its only my opinion like lol

Yeah thats cool lol, just remember that Messi is only 5 ft 6 and Ronaldo is 6 ft 1. So its understandable that Messi isnt a force in the air.

Did anyone see both Messi & Ronaldo's goals last week?
Messi scored a wondergoal against Racing and its like Ronaldo said 'anything you can do i can do better' and scored a great goal against Villareal. Can't wait for Real vs Barca.

Its Ronaldo ofcourse ronaldo makes magic, messi doesnt do anything magnificent, when ronaldo has the ball its almost impossible to take it way from him

I had to read that three times tom make sure there was no sarcasm, that is total bullshit, what do you mean Messi does not do anything magnificent, he is better on the ball than Ronaldo and he has more control on the ball than Ronaldo does.

Ronaldo is better. Both pretty similar when it comes to dribbling and skills and finishing but Ronaldo is soo good in the air and has alot of strength.

Ronaldo is far more a complete player than Messi. Although recent stats have shown Madrid are playing better when he doesn't feature.

Ronaldo for me, great form from 2 years. Messi has potential to be the greatest but not yet IMO.

I'd prefer today's fat, past's farm rat Ronaldo, if question was different :)

Again, I would say Messi all the way, has better teamwork, and make killing passes too. Not just goals. In the end, it will be the first one who achieves a title with the international side. Greatest players, were always great at their clubs and national sides. Just see the likes of Pele, Maradona, Beckenbauer, etc...Specially Maradona, because the national side was total rubbish, and he made something out of it, just like in the beginning with Napoli. Beckenbauer, world class with BM, and went to win the WC with Germany.Bobby Charlton the same, Zidane the same, Pele the same (although Brazil had a world class team overall)....

I honestly think Ronaldo is better than Messi.

Ronaldo can do everything Messi can do and more. Messi's best quality is easily his dribbling ability which is also Ronaldo's. But then Ronaldo has the tricks, the more natural finisher of the two and he can use both feet and his head.

Ronaldo for me.

More natural finisher? Really? Would be close, if you saw Messi tonight then I would argue he would be. I would say Messi is the more effective dribbler and yes Ronaldo is the better at headers but Messi showed in the CL final that he isn't bad with his head. Messi showed tonight he is the best player in Spain and in the world.

I agree ^

Messi is a far better natural finisher than Ronaldo. I also watched him tonite he was truely phenomonal.

Ronaldo's shots are more of a hit and hope style. You rarely see Ronaldo score a goal with a cool, well placed finish.

Messi actually knows where he wants to put it and usually executes his shots to perfection.

As for dribbling, i would say Messi is the more natural out of the two but i think Ronaldo's dribbling is more effective (combining pace with trickery).

You can't really compare their heading ability when you've got Ronaldo who's 6ft + and Messi who is 5ft 4? (estimate)

Obviously Ronaldo would be better in the air but you've seen before that Messi can head the ball effectively, ask any United fan.

:S Don't really agree with your comments about ronaldo's finishing, you don't score 42 goals in a season by hitting and hoping.

Not really sure who is better anymore, the're both in tremendous form.<)

I think Ronaldo does play his shots. for off the ball movement i think that is where ronaldo is better, he can play as a "on the shoulder Striker" Or he can come and get the Ball. He can run and people, he can be a target man.

Dont forgot messi header against utd was 10 yrds out with a free header. Not exactly a storming header.
