Rooney And Cavani

Has anyone got any advice on how to get the best out of rooney and cavani? Just about to sign cavani at the start of the second season, i've signed him before but he's never really shone for me. Thank you.

Usually Rooney plays well as Complete Forward, and from what I have heard, on Support he gets a lot of goals. Cavani should be played as a Poacher. Can reap them in.

Cavani as a poacher, set his roaming on and his wide play to move into channels, and Rooney as a complete forward and set his run from deep to its max, rooney will drop into the hole often and link with midfield, and Cavani will make runs into space dragging defenders with him and make space for rooney, or lose defenders completely and be in tons of space.
