Watching Liverpool play recently with a front three of Coutinho, Suarez and Sturridge and how they all seamlessly rotate up top has got me thinking of whether there is a way to emulate this in FM?

you can have two players swapping positions during a match, not sure how you'd work it with three. I do really enjoy watching Liverpool in real life - not just as I'm a fan, but because they play a really attractive style of football -

Maybe try the Rock-Paper-Scissors effect?

Suarez swap with Sturridge - Sturridge swap with Coutinho - Coutinho swap with Suarez?

Use players who are comfortable in all attacking positions (i.e players whose positions look something like "AM(RLC), ST" or at least three of those) and are good at teamwork and off the ball movement.

Having players swap positions just for the sake of it is usually pointless. If you have versatile players and a fluid system, they'll switch positions and make runs for each other without you having to tell them.
