Running Dangerously Low On Memory! [MAC]

Hey!
I was in the middle of a match when i got a pop up saying "Football Manager is running dangerously low on memory. Please quit and free up some memory,"
This is the first time it has ever happened and I've had Football Manager 2012 on my mac since its come out.

Can anyone help me solve this problem?

Ive just deleted a lot of unwanted stuff so hopefully this doesn't happen again. I didn't get chance to same my game :'( luckily it was a game id literally only just started and was only a few games in.
