August 2012- It All Starts Here...

The season began with a Home tie against Middlesbrough. Chris Kirkland ,Tom Cleverly , Darron Gibson and Ryan Babel made there debuts for the club. But there presence wasnt enough against Boro after Barry Robson penalty shot beat Kirkland to seal a Opening day lose.

Walsall FC 0 - 1 Middlesbrough

Walsall's League cup hopes have been dashed after a unlucky performance against Newcastle United. Young Jamie Paterson scored his first goal for the club , the youngster who came through the ranks at the club was given his full debut after an amazing season last season at Rushden and Diamonds whom he was on loan at, but the youngsters debut turned sour when Xisco scored in the 77th minute to knock Walsall out of the cup.

Walsall FC 2 - 3 Newcastle United

West Ham United 0 - 1 Walsall

John Carew had a Debut to remember after securing the Saddlers First win in the Premiership after a foul on Zoltan Gera leaded to a penalty that Carew slotted home.

Another lose for the Saddlers as Sunderland Striker Frazier Campbell out played the Walsall defence today after scoring twice against sloppy Chris Kirkland to knock Walsall into the relegation zone. Although on a positive note debutant Anton Ferdinand scored despite poor displays of defending against his old club.

Sunderland 3 - 1 Walsall

Walsall Fc picked up there first draw in the hands of Bolton Wanderers. Young Jamie Paterson was on target again has the boy wonder hit his 2nd goal of this season.
Walsall FC 1 - 1 Bolton

Walsall Fc picked up there second win of the season after a shock victory over top 4 contenders Tottenham after Michael Owen was back to his old ways after a brilliant cross by Gera landing straight to a ambitious Owen who sliced it home to beat Spurs Goalkeeper Gomes.
Tottenham 0 - 1 Walsall
