My friend & I are thinking of starting a joint save doing the Sir Alex Ferguson Challenge however we cannot agree on one important point.
He says after holidaying to 6th November we should take over the team in position 19 in the Premier League. As United were 19th in the league when Fergie took over.
I argue that we should take team in position 17 as the league now has 20 teams When Fergie took over it was in a league of 22 teams (old 1st division) & this would mean taking over whoever is just above bottom 3 just as united were in 1986.
Please help settle this.
