I've just been given a new contract with Sheffield Wednesday for £1,000,000p/a.

I was wondering what the most anyone has been offered/paid. I'm guessing it is quite a bit above my measly million quid

Also, is there any reason why national manager jobs don't appear to have salaries?

I have £86,000 per week with Middlesbourgh. They have to pay big to hold on to a manager who won the Championship on his first try, then second in Premier League (absolute fluke, with some crazy results going my way) and then achieving a historic double in the Champions League (extreme flukes) and the Premier League.

I should have taken the Manchester United job when it is offered to me (huge Manchester United fan) but I stuck to my good ol Riverside Stadium. I wouldn't want to have the money to buy all the superstars. I like to keep it somewhat real.
