vs IPSWICH TOWN
WIN

Coventry started all there new signings in their first game of the new season, and it was Simeon Jackson who got the winner with a powerful finish, the game was largely dominated by City until the last 20 minutes when Owen Garvan claimed for a penalty after a push by Carl Baker but nothing was given.

vs BARNSLEY
DRAW

Not the start Coventry wanted, manager Charnock indicated before the game he wanted to win the game but a 1-1 draw wasn't good enough.
Barnsley took the lead through Edin Congo, Coventry had to wait until the hour mark until they got their goal through Marlon Harewood.

vs DONCASTER
WON

Coventry started the game very well, when on 14 minutes, Simeon Jackson grabbed an individual goal to put the Blues ahead, this was Jackson's 2nd goal in 2 games. On the stroke of half time, Coventry extended their lead as the whole team was involved in a great passingh move, and it was that man again, Simeon Jackson, with the finish to make sure the Blues go in with extra breathing space.

vs SWANSEA
DRAW
There was a big hole to fill as top scorer Simeon Jackson is injured for the match, which means Fred Sears comes in for the strikers position with Carl Baker playing behind him. Swansea took the lead from a good finish from Ferrie Bodde but just 5 minutes after half time, subistitute Clinton Morrison finished off a good move to equalise.

vs BLACKPOOL
LOSS
Things didn't get off to a great start as Blackpool took the lead on 13 minutes through Kabous, as Coventry throiugh everything forward, Blackpool doubled there lead after Gary Taylor Fletcher won a corner and Rob Edwards finished with a cool finish which sealed the 3 points for the Seasiders. How Will Coventry Bounce Back?

A Draw against Barnsley 1-1, saw Gary Hooper score a screamer o the 2nd minute. Just as we looked like we were going to win, Ian Hulme scored on the 69th minute to equalize. Overall a ver y good peformance again. :)

Once again I was back to my old winning ways beating Doncaster by 3 goals to 1. Billy Sharp scored first to see his side take the lead. But staight away Gary Hooper fired back with a very anbishous shot on 3 mins. Then after a boring game Darren Gibson brought the game back to life with a great goal on 34 mins. Then Gary Hooper scored to make it 3-1 with a goal on the 81st miniute. :)

A Comeback to remember against a very strong Swansea side. With Swansea starting of the goals of the day, Shefki Kuqi scoring on the third minute. Clinton Morrison then struck the back of the net on 17 miniutes. Then Shefki Kuqi once again scored to sea the Swans lead. Staright away Aron Gunnarsson pulled it back on 28 miniutes with a tap in far post after a brilliant piece of vision from Carl Baker to slot a through ball into his path. And then to finish Elliot Ward sloted home a pena on 66 miniutes. Another Great Performance. :)

With a convicing win over Torquay, I thought that my team would have atleast stood a chance against a very poor Hull side but no i lost 2-0. Zaki with the first goal on 74 mins and then Nicky Barmby scoring on 84 mins. It felt like a succer punch concidering that we fought well all game. :(

I am 1st. As you can see.

I cant belive i have won again! Sammy Clingam and Carl Baker scoring in my 2-0 win over Blackpool. The seasiders didnt stand a chance when a very cool goal slide under the arms of the Balckpool keeper. Then to rub salt in the wound Carl Baker scored another cooley placed shot after being set up by Darren Gibson. :)

Thanks Harry and Sam :)

VS BRISTOL CITY!
DRAW

A very boring game. I have nothing else to say both teams played shocking. :(

VS PRESTON
DRAW

A amazing game. With James Mcpake giving the crowd something to cheer about on the 10th miniute with a screamer. Barry Nicholsen equlized on the 22nd miniute with a very good piece of play from preston. Martin Cranie then took the lead again for the sky blues, with a realy good piece of build up play from us. But shocking defending gave Barry the chance to level the terms by scoring a costly pena on 82 miniutes.
