Save file Windows/Mac

Hi, I am thinking about purchasing a Mac and was wondering if it is possible to use a save file from a windows pc and then use it it on a Mac. I have also used the data editor, so I don't know if that will affect anything. Thanks

I don't think it matters mate although I cannot be 100% certain on this so hopefully someone else can verify this but I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter
