Save game disappeared

I've searched around some FM sites but I haven't found any clear answer.

Yesterday I started a game with Napoli. After a Euro Cup match, I saved the game and shut off the computer.
Today when I was going to continue, it wasn't there! It wasn't even any error or something, it had just disappeared for no apparent reason. I checked my recycle bin but it wasn't there!

Close the game, then close steam, then close your computer. Any other shutdown method is likely to cause this issue.
