I was thinking the same, he didn't make a statement so much as he just said a lot of things he liked about it, and how his brother wanted him to go. Which actually means jack-s**t. I can see him going to United however.

You may have shown interest in Bale but most Spurs fans still believe that getting VDV so cheap is a sweetner from Madrid so Bale goes there. United would have to stump up more money than what they did for Berbabtov if they want Bale.

I would welcome the lad at the Bridge without a dout. He is a excellent player and only 26 years old. Lamps will be 33 next season and im not saying replace him but i would rather have another world class player at our disposal.
