Burley Sacked!! (finally)
Former Cook Island international Appointed

Scotland hero George Burley has today been sacked for being 'a total Humpty Dumpty.'
He apparently crossed the line when he asked SFA president Gordon Smith if he could fill in at left back.

If this news was not shocking enough, former Dundee United left-back Cameron Christie was appointed. Christie has no managerial experience, but says he knows what he's doing. He has cleared the squad leaving in only James McFadden, Kris Boyd and pro buffoon Nigel Quasie.

Cameron Christie also asked supporters of an online forum to pick his squad. So leave comments if your club has uncapped scots who can help the team to the 2010 world cup and beyond.

P.s I'm Scottish and will accept anybody with no caps :D:D:D:D:D:D:D

David Weir Called Up!!

300 year old playmaker David Weir has been called up apparently to partner Nigel Quasie in defence. Christie stated he can only get better from here. He will add some pace to an already fluent team!

Caldwell Called up.

After deciding Quasie could not handle the responsibility of playing with a round ball, Christie has asked Caldwell to join his quest for world cup glory. Christie is still wanting requests and will accept anyone with a young scots card

The other was a dead link and wasnt letting me post. Sorry. Will welcome all suggestions.

Good ones. Never heard of david goodwille tbh. but ill make sure there in my starting line up for my first game against Norway. Who thinks iwelumo should get a second chance?

I got most of my ideas from healey on the dead link. Lee Wallace is an inspired bit of thinking.

John Fleck is in the squad. Anyone think of Celtics promising youngsters?

Leigh Griffiths of Dundee.
David Goodwillie of Dundee Utd.
Andy Driver of Hearts.
Zander Diamond of Aberdeen.
John Fleck of Rangers (capped?)
Danny Wilson of Rangers
Fraser Fyvie of Aberdeen
Graeme Shinnie of St Mirren
James McArthur of Hamilton
Jamie Murphy of Motherwell
Mark Reynolds of Motherwell
Charlie Mulgrew of Aberdeen
Andy Carroll of Newcastle

... for those who didn't see it. Some will be a bit on the young side. Let me know what you think. 8-|

I like it. Canny get Andy Carrol, hes english. But your choices will make up much of my 23 man squad. Thanks mate:)

Nah you can unless he's played for the England team. Offer him a call up. He's eligible. Also have a look at Paul Caddis and Paul Slane from Celtic

Spare a thought for Stephen Whittaker, Jamie Ness and Stevie Smith too. I'm also doing a Scotland (formerly Scotland U21)/Rangers save and i'm about 5 seasons in and these players are doing great for me. They may yet be a bit young for yourself just starting out though. Especially Leigh Griffiths. The boys a gun for me with John Fleck.

Disaster For Young Guns

Scotland defeat shames manager.

Cameron Christie described his young stars as a 'Disgrace!' after thier 4-1 defeat to Norway. The team only had 42 caps between them, all of them James McFadden's, who left injured during the first half. The only positive to come from the game was David Goodwille's shining performance and stunning goal. The fan who selected him should be delighted and Christie said it was a 'sign of things to come from the youngster!'

Nevertheless the team will not be happy and more players will be needed for the next game!

Squad For the First Game.

After The opening disgrace Scotland are looking for new players and a new tactic. can anyone help. Here is the team and formation if it helps.
