Voted Curt's, i thought the scotish design was an insult to scots men around the planet........ thankfully, i'm not Scotish!!
Seriously though I brought this down to the fact that I can explain the green (british racing green) as having that classic english symbolism.
as far as im aware, british and english are different things
so are you saying Britian isn't England?
yes, thats exactly what im saying.
I voted bantam, the england kits for me were lacking flair. The smoke may not be my choice, but at least its different. I don't particularly like either set of kits, But i appreciate the attempts made to make the Scottish Kit different from anything seen before.
Caspian, Britain is England, Scotland and Wales.....its not a country its a collective, its like calling a Canadian American because its all part of North America. Yes Wales and Scotland are governed by the same politicians as us English, but all 3 are very different countries, with their own national pride. I am English, i don't consider myself British, even if that what my passport says. I wasnt born in Wales or Scotland, I was born in England. I have many friends from Wales who if you were to "tarnish" them with the English brush would kick off big time haha. I can understand why people from outside the UK (theres another term to explain later) would think its the same thing.
As for British Racing green, it is far greener than that England Away shirt, its sort of a deep version of the green on this site.
And we create new kits obv?whoever wins is up against the winner of the Wales and Northen Ireland kits
Great Britain is England, Scotland and Wales. Britain is England and Wales, that is a political defination. the U.K. is defined as The Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Wales is not a country, it's a principality...... look it up <) lol
British racing green is as proper a colour, you can actually buy it as a paint. So it's not my reference, that's what it is. You can check it out on google.
"On 18 September 1997, we voted in favour of devolution in Wales. Before that, we were run entirely by the UK government in London. We were then given the powers we need to make secondary laws that affect us by an act called the Government of Wales Act 1998.
In 2006, we expanded on this act and have gained more powers for our country with the Government of Wales Act 2006. Our government's document 'One Wales' refers to us as a country or nation in it's own right."
As for the colour, i thought you were saying that the shade of green on the England Away Design was British Racing Green, my apologises if i mis-read your post. i was simply trying to explain that if he were going for British Racing green, the colour is wrong. but as he stated previously it should be black lol
I actually wonder if Britain had a team in the Olympics, would BRG make a good away kit? theres an idea
whoever wins is up against the winner of the Wales and Northen Ireland kits
if the kits were in the shops would you buy them
No, tbh.if the kits were in the shops would you buy them
if the kits were in the shops would you buy them
