scouting regens

Hello everyone,

I've been doing this cheating/trick for a while that consist of assigning my scouts to countries one day before the regens creation date, with instruction to scout players under 16 only with 3 stars potential. It always worked: every year each scout would find 4-5 players in one day, provided they have a good knowledge of the country.

It seems to be no longer possible in FM2014. My scouts don't find anyone, so I have to browse club manually. Anyone to confirm this?

Try sending them out earlier as it may take them longer in this game to find players. I find it takes my scouts ages to find players right away compared to other years but thats just me.

How good are your scouts??? Twice a season regens pop up but I have scouts permanently in all the playable leagues all year round so they find alot and in and around December I go through the reports and make a short list for the transfer window. Works for me but think it depends on how good your scouts are and how you use them
