Scouting Wish for 2011

I'm sitting here bored, and thought up something I'd like to see in FM2011.

A scouting map. I would like the ability to access maps and view locations of clubs, and the place of birth of players. Maybe even have little stars noting where the major international tournaments are being hosted.

I just think it would be a neat little feature that would add some more personality to the game. (I got this idea from a baseball manager game)
 
being able to set up youth camps in different countrys such as brazil or ghana etc. in other to gain youth players before they sign for a local club. being able to set up events to incease morale within the players and improve squad harmony. i have a few other random ideas but thats all i can think of from the top of my head
 
May get on the SI with those ideas boys there pretty good
 
champ man 2010 has this.

no doubt they would scream blue murder if SI 'stole' one of their ideas lol
 
For FM11 I'd like to see an option where you can auto-set opposition instructions. For example, in the Team Settings menu you could select 'Always close down AML' etc. It would save time and it gets pretty boring having to set opposition instructions before every match... just a thought.

Yea. If i remember correctly the events idea to boost morale was in an early version of Total Club Manager i think. jdm0388, i assume you've tried Champ Mananger 2010.. if so what did you think of the Set Piece creator? I'd loved to have seen something like that in FM10
 
i think the set piece creator is the only good part of champ man 2010. aside from that i dont think its worth the £2.51 i payed for it

Ha ha ha. I paid £2.51 as well... I should have gave that money to charity or something! CM10 is very poor and very very slow. Uninstalled it the day FM10 came out
 
I played that sh*t EA calls FIFA Manager 2009 and altho being and extremely sucky game, especially compared to FM, their map features where of high class. It added some more realism.
 
i would like to see the minimum age drop from 14 to something of like 12 or 13 so that i can scout kids and bring them to my acedemy and have more than a Reserve and U18 go down to U15, U16, U13 and so on

it would be so much better and i would like to see the media questions being sorted aswell becaus ei alwas get my assistant manager to sort that **** out, and i would like to see when you click arsene wngers profile and it has all his stat categories for example under the coaching stats it has " Attacking, Defending, fitness, Goalkeepers, Man Management, Tactical etc.. i think the human manager should be able to gain these stats
And Adaptability. what im trying to say is every stat a non human manager has i think a human manager should ALSO get these stats...

i would like to see in fm 2011 when you buy a player from a club and he signs for you the shirt in the picture changes to his new club
 
I posted my suggestion a while ago on the SI forums. It has really caught hold. Last time I checked my idea was merged with some others on an epic 10+ page thread.

I'm holding out hope that they implement something of my idea even if it's just basic and put it completely in for fm12.

SI should get fans to send in pics of themselves with some details and then your part of the game instead of generated young players

Face in the game was part of FM06-08

It failed horribly due to everyones pictures looking different thanks to backgrounds, lighting, angle, resolution, etc etc.

This thread has now become a 'what i want in FM11' thread, so i'm closing as we already have one.
