I've been told how do this but it doesn't work i tried ALT+ F9 but it didn't work someone help.

First of all wrong section. Second, use search.

But I will answer anyway.
The shortcut is Alt + F9. Then check:
My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2011\screenshots

have a look at your shortcuts and it will tell you but alt+F9 works for me just make sure your pressing the right buttons

EDIT: This is just to circumvent the FM shortcut, if you can't get it to work.

Do you have a button on your keyboard labelled "Print Screen" or "Prt Scrn"? Press that.

Note that taking a "screenshot" is essentially a paste of the screen.
You need to enter paint, and then copy it into there.
