Selfish strikers

I've noticed a lot more in FM 2014 that strikers will try to score from a very acute angle rather than lay a square ball to a player for the open goal. I don't think it has to do with their Teamwork attribute either, as Wayne Rooney has an 18 in that category and he's as guilty as the others.

Is this an issue for anyone else, or just me?

I have the opposite lol. My strikers act as playmakers.

That's a striker being a striker in my opinion. Wingers and midfielders are more likely to lay a ball back but personally I would like if they all just smashed it at the far post, maybe get a touch or go straight in.

Depend on your striker role, I set my striker as trequartista and he do some cross also.

I wish my strikers would shoot, they seem to misplace all cutback passes anyway.
