Anyone else having the issue of not being able to sell their players for love nor money?

As Arsenal, sold Bendtner for 3.4m, Podolski for 15m, Frimpong for 2.5m and Park Chu Young for 1.5m.

Trying to sell Giroud Cazorla Vermaelen and Arteta to make room for better players and i'm getting nothing. Got offfered 3m for Arteta and 14m for Cazorla over 48 months. I've seen people saying they've sold Cazorla for 30m and Walcott for 50m, Ramsey for 40m etc...is there soemthing i'm missing? The demo was bad for this-thought the game might have been a bit better but apparently not...

I only managed to get ?8M for Kagawa, and his value was ?25M have not really had any recent offers for big players so it would be hard to comment, but worth keeping an eye on

You'll only get big money for players at the start of the window as thats when the big teams start going on spending sprees.

I found it helped when I set a preferred price on my players, like Amido Balde I set it at 7.5 million, when he was playing well, the bids came in, I rejected, then started asking for around 10 milliom, he kept playing well, and I got offered the bids of 10 million, I rejected, then I asked for 15 million (his release clause) and eventually all the smaller clubs that were interested like, Lyon, Marseilles, Fulham stopped trying to bid, and in stepped the bigger clubs with money Sporting Porto etc. This worked for Balde, Van Dijk, McKay, Gianniotas.

Even at the beginning of the season it happens. Sometimes in previous games it depended on what leagues you had loaded but this is ridiculous.

Other way round. As clubs sell players, they have more money and need replacements. Plus some of their targets will already have moved. Near deadline/on deadline day is when you get the highest prices, but then it's harder to get a replacement. So it's swings and roundabouts.

You won't get much for Arteta, because of his age. But I sold Cazorla and Walcott on deadline day for ?30m and ?40m each. To sell players, offer them out at around their value. Keep offering slightly lower until you get several bids. Then reject all but one, and offer them out again for slighlty higher this time. Repeat - making sure to always stall one offer - until everyone has stopped bidding, then accept your remaining bid.

I've found it's a bit difficult to get good bids in the first transfer window. For e.g, I got offers of around 20 million $ for Kagawa, in the first transfer window. Rejected them, played with Kagawa, and he was simply brilliant, his value shot upto 70 million $ after the first transfer window. Then got offers around 65 million or so, but rejected them xD

Do you mean offer them out in the literal sense? click "offer to clubs"? or do you mean transfer list them for an asking price?

Arsenal players I've sold.
After first season:
Walcott for 45M (Has been at Chelsea for 3 seasons now, played 4 games total, GREAT BUY CHEALSEA lulz!)
Szczesny for 17M(Has played for Barcelona 3 seasons, all games, still only worth 18M, got ter Stegen, worth 22M)
Koscienly for 25M (Played first season for Juventus, now hes their new bench-warmer)
Ox for 35M (Sold to ManC, 3 season tho has played 14 games total, English clubs are retarded)
Flamini for 6M
Total profits first season 135M (enough to get some sweet replacements)

After second season
Sold none, brought in mainly youngsters

After third season
Sold some players I brought in after first season along with Monreal for 10M
100M profit

Total value of my top 15 players currently 440M, and I still got a 100M transfer budget. So doing ok :)

I think a big factor in transfer prices for the AI is the players current form. And they have no form at the start of the game, the AI will be reluctant to buy your players. Selling in January or the second season is a much better bet.

For example, at Arsenal I wanted to sell Cazorla in the first season, but I couldn't even get an offer for even half price. Same thing in January. Due to injuries though, he became a first team regular after January and got 17 goals in 15 games and in the summer I had offers of around 30 million for Him.

Some things I believe is important
- When buying players, do it just before the season ends, clubs that have been performing badly will be looking to sell their stars. Once the transfer window opens there will be a lot more competition and some clubs will re-evaluate and increase their prices.
- Sell your players when the clubs actually have money start of seasons for instance.
- Get your players internationally recognized, using unknown players in the champions league will boost both their value and recognition a lot. Once they start playing for their country they'll be easy to sell.
- Just use "offer to clubs", remove "set to unwanted" option, offer for twice their value, wait a day, then look if the player has become wanted by any clubs. If they have, just wait and you'll soon enough receive an offer. Probably a lot lower than you asked for but still a lot higher than their value. Sometimes you get lucky and get the full amount. If you do, don't get greedy and try to go for more than twice value, sell. If you don't receive an offer, wait another season or try lowering the value until you get one.
