There is this situation in FM12 that I can't find much info about.
I just got promoted to League Two and I hope to turn professional with all dis shiet. But, as of May, I'm pretty helpless because I don't know how all the contracts will be handled. Can't talk to the board about turning pro due to the financial reality, so I guess I have to wait until the end of June, when the game realises I'm in League Two. But currently I'm not sure about renewals and signing new players on semi-pro without all those funny clauses.
So, if anyone has expierence in this things and knows what exactly happens to the senior and junior contracts, help would be "top top quality". ^^)
