I have to say as an England fan, I'm extremely looking forward to the world cup next year, already some teams have qualified but the one team that stands out to me is Serbia. They've come along way since 2006 when there team was built around Vidic, now they are a great footballing team since Antic was appointed Manager, they've stopped winning 1-0 and started scoring loads of goals, for me they are the dark horses to win the competition. The fact that the only two regulars from 2006 team that beat Romania the other night were Stankovic and Vidic. They've got a great target man within Zigic while they have a proper engine within Krasic (Vastly underrated) who plays for CSKA Moscow. They've got rid of Kezman and frankly that has do done them huge favours. I'm not saying the Serbs will win the world cup but they've come a very long way and it is likely that they can only get better with the likes of Kolarov, Tosic, Ljajic, Matic and Subotic performing really well for their respective clubs.
At 66-1 odds, it's certainly not a bad team to stick a tenner on.
