serious error encountered

Hi folks hope someone can help me here.
just bought fm2012 and was looking forward to playing it. Installed fine but when i try to launch fm it comes up with serious error encountered. Ive read through some threads and tried various fixes but nothing has worked. Has anyone had this problem and how did you fix it?

Hello,

I would say that it is nothing to do with the game, and that hardly anyone else would have had the same problem. I would have to say that the installation failled through the process. Best thing to do is uninstall and try again. If you have tried installing from disc try it from steam instead or visa versa.

ive tried reinstalling maybe 6 or 7 times and have tried it both ways. i have seen other threads with people having the same issues and have tried all the fixes that people have posted but none of these have worked

I'd advise going to the SI games forum and posting on their troubleshooting. From what I've heard, they've been pretty good with helping people with any issues on the game and respond very quickly.

got it sorted. I had to uninstall bitdefender then it worked fine
