Serious problem with Fiorentina

Despite having Mario Gomez and Giuseppe Rossi up front, I can't generate any offense at all no matter what tactic I use. Most of the time I get under 10 shots per game and get absolutely dominated. One game I even had a grand total of 1 shot (which wasn't even on target) versus 19th place Sassuolo.

My players are also consistently inconsistent. Sometimes they make fantastic plays like 5 straight one-touch passes and sometimes they can't even pass to a teammate 30 cm away from them.

If anyone else here is successfully managing Fiorentina, please tell me HOW.

I've tried a lot of tactics, from offensive strats to defensive ones. Each for 4 games minimum to see if any of them worked. None did. In every game, my players just pass the ball without doing anything with it. Sometimes I get great counter attacking opportunities only for them to be ruined by my players passing back for no good reason.

90% of the time my goals are from either corners or crosses.
 
Try this. Download and use one of the tactics from the forum....I use calamity 451 and w4nker 451..both good. Set pre season training tactics-high and pre match training to teamwork. Wont fix it straight away...but give it two months and you'll be beating most teams by 3-0
 
i started managing fiorentina in fm14 and had the same problem in the begining.while being in the 12th position my job was very insecure.so i tried out this one: http://www.fm-base.co.uk/forum/share-download-fm-14-tactics/143309-different-451-tactic-success.html (451a especially).it took my players like 1 month to learn the tactic but after that i only lost 6 games of the remaining league matches (november-april) and won the serie A.training is very important this year so take a good look at it.i think its the best tactic for viola.hope it suits you too.i'd like to hear how this worked if you do try it out.peace
 
That's because its Fiorentina. That got relegated in the first season of my Udinese game. Was funny cause they look like a good team.

But serious, give downloaded tactics more time. It takes a while for a team to learn a tactic. It took some time for my Udinese team to learn my tactic and I was afraid I would lose my job but they got it and went on a good run. Ended up just missing out on European qualification unfortunately.
