I started to notice I missed a lot of penalties, so I started to tally them.

I have scored 1 in my last 15. Strangely enough, the penalty takers have always had solid stats. Danny Graham in the Championship. Ross McCormack in the Championship and Premier League.

However, freekicks I seem to score too many. McCormack must have scored 10 freekicks and no penalties in his final season in the Championship for me.

Anybody else had this problem?

penalties are scored from my team players is like 7 from 10 it's normal for me

but the FK's is anoying like in a whole season my team score around 1 or 2 maximum although i have players with high FK, finish, tech, comp

Exactly the same problem here. Playing with Atlético. Gabi scores 1/4 penalties, 2/4 free kicks. Not so real.
