im everton 1st season and tottenham offerd me 10mil plus giovanni dos santos for baines...baines is important and i also need a right winger which with dos santos would be perfect but then is 10mil plus dos santos who i heard is sometimes inconsistent worth it for baines who is apprently one of the best lb in the game

On previous saves I have done, he's ended up at Spurs for fees of close to £20m, but then that's obviously different for different games, but really mate, it all depends on the real need for your Right Winger position and whether you have any ideas on players who could replace Baines for £10m.

If you do choose to sell, then I recommend Ryan Bertrand as a replacement.

Hope that helped

Don't sell Baines. Not only is he able to whip the ball into the box, but he's also dam good dead ball specialist, along with an absolute workhorse. Keep him.

It'd be easier and cheaper to find winger as good as Dos Santos than it would be to find a left back ask good as Baines. Keep him :)

good, cheap and class right winger (left footed): Tom - Litex (very cheap), gonzalo castro -mallorca (release clause is like peanuts $28k)

I'll probably sell Baines and put Royston Drenthe as LB. As for 10m i will buy Willian & Verratti in. Also u can sign Royston on free transfer in season 2.

sell baines for 14 mill negotiate then buy a lb there are plenty of good full backs

15m no less and sign either a youngster or a well established lb

i always sell baines for 17mil to arsenal or 13mil and santos to spurs. and bring in lucas digne on loan (100k) use phill neville and bring some1 else in as backup to him and digne :)

Keep him mate, I scored the most goals in the league from corners in my 1st season with him taking them from both sides. He also scored 8/9 pens throughout the season. Buy a young understudy left back (Donati?) and play him in a few games so he is a ready replacement for when Baines is a bit too old or you decide to sell!!

I think you should accept that offer

Sell, Sell, Sell, always sell. As unrealistic as it is, players in FM never have much trouble adapting to the premier league. You can buy any number of LB's that can do a decent job (might not offer Baines' set piece ability) for a fraction of the price. You will have filled a need at AMR and you will have 10 million to spend. I'd recommend accepting the offer, then looking round on the transfer list to see if you can get a cheap option in. If not look at someone like Tremoulinas. If you can't find a replacement you like you can always cancel the deal later on.

Not sure where he starts on this one, but try of Tsepo Masilela, he is not that much worse than Baines and if i remember correctly can be bought for something like 250k. That leaves you 9m + to strengthen the rest of your team, and if you're Everton that means buying a decent striker!

EDIT: Just checked on my San Marino save and Everton sold Baines to UTD at the start for 14.5m and bought Dos Santos for 6.5m. Dos Santos has had 2 and half good seasons (im in Jan 2014) and is still valued at 6.25m. Baines is worth 5.25m and is on the TL for 2.6m. Everton bought Masilela for 180k, and Adrian Aldrete for 3.9m in the summer of 2012 (Aldrete moved to Celtic for 1.8 at the start). Masilela is now worth 3.5m and Aldrete 4.2m. I think this illustrates my point nicely.....SELL

Baines? One of the best fullback in FM. Giovanni? Not that bad, but not that good. You can take Sturridge on loan? Or maybe he's in first squad Chelsea? Or he's transfered to other club? Try get him.

There are definitely better buys out there than Dos Santos, but considering he's been offered 10m + dos santos, it's a good deal. After a year in the team you can easily sell Dos Santos for over 5m. Tom was mentioned earlier, he would be a good buy with the money you make too
