I know Carrick's stats are really good, but he will turn into 31 this year, should I sell him in the 1st transfer window? or keep him for a year?
I'm looking for his replacement (4 stars for CA), and have scouted some MCs, Hamsik is the most suitable for his replacement, but napoli ask too much for him (39M Euros)...
any ideas?

Thanks.

keep him. He's quality and you can't get much money for him so no point selling.

I just keep him as long as he's happy/being played. He's got championship winning experience and is a great role model for younger players.

Sell him, his on high wage and his 31ish so sell him and use Anderson/Cleverly more.

i sold him in 2nd season for £11m to juventus and he didn't have a good season for me either.

oh god no, he's one of the best at his role on the game if you use him right. Signed him for Cardiff when he was like 34 still was awesome for me in the prem

Well...

pros:

- he's english
- one of the best deep lying playmakers in the game
- great role model
- Not many CM's are available at the start of the game... or at least not for a reasonable price...

cons:

- Difficult to sell for a good price
- Not as consistent as Cabaye or Moutinho, for example
- Slow...
- Complains if not playing regularly

I always keep him, but usually he's a benchwarmer... XD
