The use of shouts and set pieces in FM15 is overpowered - Discuss.

Really? I find screaming aggressive encouragement like a madman at your player while he is taking that freekick only works half the time. Too random for me

Set peices yes, Shouts I'd agree with Crusartsar that it is very random. However I think Counter/Defensive mentality is too overpowering in terms of attacking threat in this FM. Usually you'd never see such effectiveness with these mentalities but sometimes you can dominate teams with them.

I never use shouts so can't really say anything. If you get your set pieces right then you'll score almost every other game, tbh.

don't change set pieces anymore default settings provide the most realistic effect I can find.


currently sitting top of the league with Newcastle second season having signed 2 first team cb's and squad players. lost one game in 20 and have 12 clean sheets. So in my opinion neither shouts nor set pieces are overpowered, unless used to exploit the game in some way that I at this moment in time do not do.

it is pretty solid so far having lost 2 league games to burnley and west ham of all teams, and one cup game all season. I was gonna consider updating my thread with it but it seems with the corner/throw in tactics being so popular this would probably go down like a tonne of bricks lol
