SICARIO POSSESSION

Possessing the ball has always been a key concept in football. However, with the success enjoyed by Barcelona and Spain in past years’ possession football and how to possess the ball has taken on even more reputation. Viewing those teams at their best was enthralling. The ball was pinged around in quick transition, mostly the short one two passes as if it was a pinball while the opposition looked on usually helpless to do anything about it.

Such an ability to move the ball around is based on countless hours of practice and an almost telepathic understanding of teammates. But at its core Spanish possession soccer has a number of key principles that can be employed by any team. They won’t make you play like Spain but, if employed, they will improve your team’s ability to retain possession of the ball.

What is Sicario Possession?

Sicario possession is a tactic design for those FM lovers who seek to enjoy a mesmerizing passing game, the key concept of the tactic is possession, pressing & counter. There is two version of Sicario Possession tactic; which is a Counter tactic that can be utilized to have more control of the possession and be more cautious during counter attacking. However, unlike the Counter version the Attacking version is design to have possession and at the same time attack with urgency, which is more goal score oriented. There is no home and away version of the tactic. If you wish to play cautious try the Counter, if you prefer more goals try the Attacking version.

Ball Control & Team Work

Why Ball Control as general training? The key reason to apply ball control in general training is so that you can ask your coaches to give more attention in training session to improve your players Dribbling, First Touch, Heading, Technique and Flair as these are key attributes for a possession oriented football.

Any spesific OI? Thanks for sharing will try it

Any tips about away matches?

For away matches, start with counter. If still no goals, switch to attack and then if you get the lead return back to counter.
