Signing players from a new club

Hey guys, is there any way of making players sign for you even if they have just signed for a new club? I'm desperate to sign Marco Reus for Man City and every time I get an offer accepted, he rejects me. Any suggestions are appreciated, thanks in advance!

no mate, not really! you can try in the winter window though.. (praise him via media once a month until then)
