Hi,
I have been watching athletic Madrid a lot this season and i really admire the way they play. I would like to replicate this in FM but it seems nearly impossible. The main part I am struggling with is getting them to sit narrow and in formation when defending, but then once they get the ball changing into a fluid, free role tactic with pace and finesse. could anyone help or is this simply not possible with the ME?

I agree to that mate, one of the best tactics in world football IMO.

What would you say is their formation? 442 or 4222

4-4-2, this is due to the fact in game if you was playing an AML and AMR they wouldn't track back and double up like an ML and MR would like in Athleticos instance.
