Ozil is anything but CM. He is an attacking midfielder, plays higher up. He might be handy in European games as we play 4-5-1.

thats why we might sign him. ferguson constanly talks about possession in europe, hes already said we will play 4-3-3 in europe. from the way he talks its sounds like the CL is a priorty this season

Well he has good cover over all positions but Giggsy and Scholes need replacing at some point and on current form there's not too many better than Ozil

Attacking midfield is in centre midfield. He plays ahead of the others and behind the strikers, thats in midfield and in the centre so = centre midfield.

If we did sign him we would not really need to change our system, from what I have seen he can play from further back and could act as the play maker. Even last season we didn't play 2 strikers the majority of time, so he would fit in.

The fee I have heard floating around is around 8-12million pounds. I would snap him up for that.
