Skins don't work no matter what

I create a skins folder in the data folder and add a skin,load the game and i get to the loading menu and then it says Processing... (in white) then Processing... (in blue) Please Wait... and won't move...i have tried 5 skins all from this website and it's the same,i posted this before and got no reply so can someone please help me this time

You don't put skins in the data folder... They go in:
\My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2011\skins

Did you also go into preferences > Display & Sound > Untick 'Use skin cache' and tick 'Reload skin on confirm'?

Also in the skins folder, the folders for each of the skins directly beneath it should contain the skin files. See screenshot attached if you don't get what I mean.

mine is in exactly the same folder as yours and yeh its all where its meant to be and i done all the ticks and unticks

there is a new good patch on this site...russian and english version...skins from this site works only with new patch...

or me.tanned my download allowance for nothing. logos, badges, facepacks all fine, but skins never work. pls can someone come up with a deinitive solution

Well, I have tried a couple of skins and a couple of ways to try and sort this, also using latest patch 11.1.1, nothing seems to work, have followed all instructions to the letter, did notice in one of the forums that if using the 'Reloaded' version, then it may not work, 1. does anyone know if thats true and 2.is there another work-a-round?
