I have started a career with minimal badges and unemployed. I took a job in norway. I play 4321 with BWM(D), attacking midfielder(S) and box2boxM(S) in midfield and advanced playmaker(S) and shaddow striker(A) just behind my poacher. With small teams is it best to have minimal team and player instructions? And with formations do they tend to do badly with more adventurous tactics or is basic 442 better at that level? I have done not too badly so far with my current formation just looking for what other have found with small teams.

Opinions welcome.

i'm currently managing harrogate in english conference north, won my first 2 league games convincingly but after that went 6 games only managing 2 points so tried a new tactic from scratch.. went with an attacking fluid 4-2-3-1 using 10 touchline instructions so not really that basic and currently 17 games unbeaten in all competitions since the 6 without a win.. i'm yet to lose with this tactic.
