Smalling 1st Season

Being quoted ?18-20 million for Smalling at Arsenal first season to play alongside Balanta/Koscielny as I plan to get rid of Vermalaen and Mertesacker.

Is he worth it?

If not any other suggestions are welcome.

No. He doesn't really progress any more...

Make do with Vermalaen and look for regens after your first season.

Otamendi looks class as does Subotic but my scouts are not too keen on either player.

Anyone signed either of these players for a CL EPL team?

I always thought Otamendi was a tad too short...

Due to injurues, I am using Smalling as a WB right now and he has done very well for me.
