So erm...where's my patch?

The latest patch I have downloaded is the 11.2.0 patch, this was the one that I got with the game. I understand that there is an 11.2.1 patch out now, I'm currently using Steam but on the Football Manager website it says that Steam users need not download it because it will update automatically. But it hasn't updated yet. Should I just go and download it from the website? Will it make any difference?

Do not download from the website it will mess your game up
You're using steam so it will automatically update. 11.2.1 isn't a database change so it won't come up in database version when you go to start a new game. Go to your game status screen and it should say version 11.2.1

Yes, the one from the site will look for the dvd version which installs to a different location. Not sure if that can be changed when applying the patch though?
