So I have a few young MC/AMC to choose...

Not sure if this is the right place, direct me to the right forum if it's not. I made a mistake earlier in the game, that is buying lots of AM. Am in October 2011 and I need expert's advice. I have Fleck, Verratti, Shelvey, Hatem Ben Arfa, Zuculini (originally loan from hoffenheim to use as backup DM but found out that he's good playing CM and since I have remaining budget left,I bought him) Ever Banega, Deco and Gerrard in the AM/CM centre but only with 1 space up for grabs.

Well, with Gerrard here, should be no problem to choose, but he's injured for 2 months now and I'm in a dillema on which to choose. I'm playing 4-1-1-2-2 if there's CM and 4-1-3-2 if there's AM. Depends on who's available really. I fear that if the young players are left out and can only came in as sub (which will usually result in bad rating) they wont develop. So what can I do?Thanks in advance.

Definitely stick with Verratti. I missed out on him and now he's going to cost me 50m. Personally I'd get rid of Deco.

Don't know about Fleck as I can't seem to find him in my game. At any rate, I think I would use Verratti in an AM position as much as possible as of all players he's got the most scoring potential. Intially alongside Gerrard but when playing with 1 AM I'd even be tempted to shift Gerrard into a MC role. Develop Zuculini to a DM role.

Anybody else I'd say keep around until a good opportunity for sale arises and use the money to rebuy in the actual positions you need.

well verratti shelvery and zuculini are all centre mids, i recommend keeping them all developing them using sfrasers training or sending them on loan if theyre not gonna feature

Verratti only 18. Though like you said, I might be tempted to play him since he scored in his first ever league debut through free kick. Guess I'll try playing him a lot then till Gerrard recovered. Tbh, I dont really have the heart to get rid of Deco, got him on free transfer and scored a lot too, eventhough he only play a few games. Most of his goals (or all of it maybe) scored from outside the penalty box.

When I said I use 4-1-1-2-2, I meant I use a DM(Anchor Man) and a MC/AMC so playing both Gerrard and Verratti is not possible.

Thanks I'll try Verratti, but confuse now,based on Zuculini's stats, he seems more suitable playing as CM rather than DM right..??

Use a fast striker as targetman and set supply to run onto ball.If you get the player instructions right,Your AMC's and ST will all be scoring tons of goals.

Well I dont really know whether they'll play or not....coz they're not consistent. So I dont know how to pick. Verratti and Shelvey are CM..oO)??

Havent actually thought of that coz I want to play 2 strikers. Got Guilherme and Torres (sub - Lukaku and Jo) Though now that you suggested it,that seems a very good formation for me. Thanks, I'll try using that formation! But Torres as targetman? Sorry for asking lots of questions,I have a very high curiousity and not good with tactics :S

True, but considering the players you have available, I'd consider a switch anyway.

In my game in 2018/19, he's natural at MC, but accomplished at DM and MR.

If I look at his stats in my game his only real weakness as DM (both defend and support role) is his positioning (10). Everything else is above 15 of the key attributes.

Yes you can use Torres as targetman. I did one and he played graet scoring 1.1 goals/game. otherwise you just tick the targetman box and set torres as advanced forfard/poacher. remember to set ball played to feet, or run onto ball for torres though.

Who is playing in left wing for you? that is where i have had most sucsess with Jon Fleck myself.
