So many problems!

So basically I was playing FM yesterday and I was about to start a match. I name my team and I get this crash dump. Click back into FM and I get XML parsing errors as well as crash dumps. I tried doing what some of you said. I did a disk defrag, I deleted the folder that they tell you to delete. I went back into the game. Had no problems, except now when I go to click Load Game it opens up a window and it says Choose a file to load. The rest of it is blank. I waiting 1 hour to see if it would change but it hasn't. So basically I can't play FM. Any suggestions?

your game or computer is fecked im afraid:(
 
Would it be worth getting more RAM put on there and just taking to to computer specialists to fix it up in general?

most probably mate,try downloading gamebooster from google i use that it releases ram etc etc.let me know how u get on m8:)
 
Right. I downloaded this gamebooster thing. Didn't make a difference. My main problem now is actually loading my game. I click Load Game and this is what it does. Was like that for about 2 hours.



It does the same thing if I click new game too. Any suggestions?
 
Will do. I will then have to reinstall the latest patch and I can continue my saved game as usual? Yeah?
 
do a complete clean re install. by clean i mean also deleting any and all facepacks, logos, and other graphics in your Si folder
 
Well I haven't ever installed any facepacks etc so where would I find all this? Cheers.
 
no you would have to start completely new game,but uninstall everything the re-install should work fine then.
 
Seriously do not want to start a new game. 3 seasons into my current one :(

Gah. fml.
 
I'd much rather loose my 3 seasoned game, then loose the game itself. I'm pretty sure if you re-install it, it'll be fine, i'm sure you can always start again.
 
Ahk. Fine. When I get my laptop back (currently posting on iPod) I will re-install it. :)
 
save the game save file to a memory stick or a CD before doing the complete reinstall. That way you can see if the game works after the reinstall or not. If it works then copy the save file back to the correct fm folder and you can see if you can play it or not.
 
Okay. Just a few things. Re-installed it. Works. Tried to put the saves back into the games folder, I loaded up the game, clicked load game and went to load it but a notice came up saying "Save could not be loaded" any suggestions?
