Hi all, first post on here so apologies if it is in the wrong area.
I purchased FM18 a few months ago, created a new team with the editor then starting playing with no issues and I placed my new team in League 1.
I managed to win League 1 and gain promotion to the Championship however now I have finished pre-season and go into league games I have an issue with team selection. Before each league game I have 'rules for skybet championship match against *******' and underneath Maximum of 3 Outfield players over 23 allowed is 3 ?? this includes the bench, so essentially I am forced to play my under 23 team for every game except for cup games where I can choose without restriction? what is going on? can anyone help and tell me why I cant play a team of 'old codgers' if I wanted to? How can I change it?
