What do you analyse before making a tactic?

When you've created it and it's not quite working, what statistics/analysis do you look at to tweak it?

How do you decide your team talk, what tone to use etc?

What do you look at/do regarding the opposition when preparing for a match?

Any answers or links to other topics covering these appreciated.

Not a tactical genius but if they play a narrow formation i''ll exploit the flanks

1- either you adapt the tactic to the best roles of your players or you adapt the players (both options work in football, it's really up to the manager)

2- analysis doesn't come through stats, but through watching matches

3- assertive if my players are not interested or complacent, calm to encourage (during matches)

4- close down the players in the center, mark tighter wide players

Not to point traffic to my thread because I'm lonely, but I'm actually doing a whole thing on how to analayse your tactic, and what changes to make to imrpove and get results - on your own without stealing another tactic online.

Check it out here. I'm having some good sucess and pointing out (through my game example) what I am doing and how and why! Might help...

And do reply if you like it. I'ts kinda empty and lonely there *sniff*.
